I am in party planning mode with my daughter, for my granddaughter’s birthday and her upcoming baby shower. So naturally, I went to items for parties!

I love the cupcake liner die! I have found two ways to use it so far. The first is the traditional way to hold cupcakes, this really dresses up the cupcakes. The second way is to make little treat cups or favor cups. Jelly beans for easter, nail polish, clippers file for a mini mani kit, coffee pods or tea bags.

I used Solid FSJ Cardstock and the Create and Bloom printed papers to create my liners. Cut multiple colors to add layers as I did for the St. Pat’s Day cupcake. For the Easter Bunny liner, I turned it into a basket using a strip of the same patterned paper with the reverse print. The Easter Greetings and the Eggs were stamped with clear pigment ink and embossed with white powder. Happy Easter stamped in Black Licorice True Color Fusion Ink and the bunny is stamped twice, first in Pumpkin Bread True COlor Fusion Ink and then in Hazelnut Fusion Ink. Die Cut using coordinating dies.

I create a circle bottom for the cupcake wrappers using the FSJ Circle dies (a basic die set everyone should own) This also is true when making the wrappers into treat or gift holders.

Don’t forget to comment below and on each team members blog to be in the running for one of 5 $25 gift certificates to Spellbinders-FSJ. Winners should be drawn by Friday, March 22nd. Thank you for visiting my blog and Good Luck.

I started by cutting out two of the gable box pieces in chipboard for stability. Then I began to choose my paper colors and cut them using the die as well as the Journey Blooms Paper Trimmer. The rectangle piece is cut to 3 5/16 x 1.5, the square piece is 3 5/16 x 3 1/2. Cut your doors, windows, grass, clouds, heart, and kitty using FSJ Cardstock and Create and Bloom Prints. I inked around the edges with Tin Pail Fusion Ink to soften the design.

When cutting the window through the chipboard and pattern paper and the same time you will need to make about threes passes through your Platinum 6 die Machine. Then place a piece of plastic sheet adhered behind the window. I loved the idea of popping up the flower box, I added cut pieces of grass and a foam square mounted kitty. These little details are what make these boxes so fun to make.

Supplies used to create this box:

Create and Bloom Prints, Gable Favor Box Die, Sweet Home Accents Die Set, Journey Scoring Board, Detail Pro Shears, Dauber Dowel Small, Journey Foam Squares Small, Tin Pail Fusion Ink, Black Licorice Fusion Ink, Bubble Gum Cardstock, Pool Play Cardstock, Lemongrass Cardstock, Whip Cream Cardstock, Craft Glue.

I am hoping you can see all the glorious details in my photos. Let me know how you feel about the photo gallery v.s. individual photos.

The rectangle piece then is stamped with clear pigment in and embossed with white embossing powder and a heat tool. A die cut a stitched circle from the die set DI-0466 Circle Around Die Set serves as a landing spot popped up for the Love Arrow Heart in Candy Apple Red. The heart is cut out and mounted with foam squares. I snagged a mailbox from Target dollar spot and embellished it with FSJ stamps. #funstampersjourney #cards #handmade #creativeteam #bloghop #love I made 5 mini Valentine’s that fit inside. This would be cute as home decor or for a child at school. I used the same three stamp sets to create this set. eZy Watermark_14-01-2019_05-43-38PM Valentine’s are so fun to make. Looks good enough to eat.

I started by cutting my Gingerbread Boy Garland Tag out of FSJ cardstock. Oatmeal Cookie, Whip Cream, Black Licorice, Candy Apple.

Ink the gingerbread with oatmeal Cookie and Hazelnut True Color Fusion Ink. Then piece his icing pieces and add pink pan pastel to cheeks, red glitter to heart buttons, dimensional liquid as icing and google eyes.

The holly Pattern paper is from the FSJ paper pack cozy prints. I also used some funky film red holographic paper to make it more festive.

The sentiment is from FSJ Christmas Sprig. I brought in a pop of green with the holly leaves and bling for berries.

Be sure and check out the rest of the creative team for more projects using Spellbinders/FSJ products.

I hope you’re enjoying all the stops on the hop! If you’re new to my blog – I appreciate you stopping by.

I have been so anxious to share these cool, creative and state-of-the-art products with you! I made two projects! I could have kept creating all night. This is something I have been known to do. Who needs sleep right?

Today I will be sharing a Thankful Friends stamp and dies, along with a few techniques. I love learning and experimenting with the products from FSJ. It gives me great satisfaction to create. Whether I come up with something on accident or out of necessity it is so gratifying.

I started creating my own background using the luscious Pan pastels Rich Sorbets and Mother Nature. img_6349.jpg

Simply swipe the pan pastels in the desired plaid pattern and blend together with the journey soft tool and journey gold pan pastel. The result is stunning. I also used the clear pigment ink to stamp the leaves and then reveal with pan pastel on top to pop the leaves.

img_4810-e1536978493660.jpg

The elements of my card were created by inking the squirrel with Oatmeal Cookie True Color Fusion Ink and blending with Cocoa Powder True Color Fusion Ink to create my custom shaded brown squirrel. The process is repeated for all images. Use the coordinating dies to cut images out as well as a black strip from the Border Essentials Die Set.

temp 3

The background is cut down, splattered with Black Licorice Silk and popped up on Pomagranite Splash Cardstock. The sentiment is embossed with Black Embossing Powder and die cut out. All images are popped up with Journey Foam Squares except for border strip. Affix Gold Friendship sequins to finish off.

I love changing out my fireplace mantle with the seasons and holidays. So naturally, I created a fall banner for my second project.

Using the Grid Background stamp and Oatmeal Cookie and Cocoa Powder Ink stamp on Oatmeal Cardstock, distressing with ink and crumpling paper.

Here is a TIP: My sentiments were embossed here too, I used gold powder and clear pigment ink with cocoa powder ink and clear powder. You can use any of the fusion inks and clear powder for custom embossed pieces. Create your banner pennants using the same technique described for the card. Ink and stamp desired images blending ink colors with the dauber dowel tool.

img_4763-e1536978603421.jpg

The scallop circle dies were used as my anchor for my images and sentiments. Once you glue the stamped torn grid pieces, use the tiny circle from the Cottage Bloom Die Set to create the holes to attach the pennants with ribbon or tulle as shown. Be sure todie cut the holes before assembling all your foam mounted pieces or you will flatten your design. Round the corners with the Journey Corner Rounder.

Embellish each pennant with sequins, splash, ink and Nature Buttons. String your banner with desired twine, string, ribbon as shown.

Now on to the very creative Carrie.

Hopefully, you leave here ready to create some fall decor of your own!

Lezlye
